On the other side of the classroom the large presbytery, barrel-vaulted, semicircular apse ends covered in the basin. The presbytery is raised a few steps and is bordered by a marble balustrade; is dominated by the majestic marble altar at the center and on the back wall, the wooden choir and the altar with carved and gilt wood frame.
