  • This bridge is the major traffic bottleneck in the region. It has four lanes, two in each direction during off peak times. During rush hour one lane lane is set to "counterflow", westbound in the morning and eastbound in the evening.
  • This bridge is being replaced by a new 7 lane cable stayed bridge that is currently under construction. It includes a pedestrian sidewalk and a bike lane. it is being constructed high enough to allow boats to go under it. The bridge and the new interchange to the east with the Mary Hill bypass are part of the BC government's 'Gateway Project' to improve transportation. You can see a picture and more details on this site: http://www.th.gov.bc.ca/gateway/prb-maryhill/prb.htm
  • And the bridge is done!!!
