apartment building, 1915_construction, Beaux-Arts (architecture)
6-story Beaux-Arts residential building completed in 1915. Designed by Charles B. Meyers, it is rectilinear in plan and clad in off-white brick. It has stores at ground level, on either side of the centrally placed entrance doorway, and the windows were planned to align with the lower buildings flanking it. The facade displays decorative panels and a stepped brick parapet at the roof, with two fire escapes running down the sides. The ground floor is occupied by Golden Rule Wine & Liquor Store, and Alexandra Bistro & Bar.
