5-story Neo-Grec residential building completed in 1886. Designed by Berger & Bayliss, it has a high stoop and tall rusticated stone basement. The doorway is flanked by granite pilasters with carved capitals, under a deep stone lintel supporting the bottom platform of the fire escape that runs down the center of the facade. The two central windows are slightly recessed and framed by projecting brick sections on either side. Stone band courses serve to unite the window sills at the 2nd, 3rd & 5th floors and separate the building into four sections horizontally.

Crowning the facade is a projecting roof cornice resting on five elaborate brackets with a row of small arches below the cornice. There is a considerable amount of sculptural ornament on the building, appearing not only in the capitals of the columns and the keystones of the windows at ground floor level, but also in the spandrel panels between the 3rd and 4th floor windows, which are flanked by escutcheons. The ornament culminates in a single, central keystone with classical head which appears under the cornice.
