Built in the late 2000's, this Unmanned Aerial Vehicle airfield is a fully-dedicated facility which supports the elements of the 10th Mountain Division Special Troops Battalions which operate the RQ-7 Shadow unmanned aerial vehicle in the reconnaissance, surveillance, target acquisition and battle damage assessment roles. The airfield is equipped with a full-service hangar and a 500ft runway.
