 condominium, Romanesque (architecture), 1890_construction

5-story Romanesque-revival residential building completed in 1890. Designed by G.A. Schellenger, it is three bays wide, with a ground floor of stone, a round-arched doorway near street level, and round-arched windows. The upper floors are clad in red brick with the top-floor windows having brick arches edged with stone and decorative stone tympani filling the semicircular openings supported by wall sections taking the form of pilasters.

The intermediate floors have brick wall sections between square-headed windows. They are treated in a variegated manner at each level, and there are decorative stone spandrel panels beneath these windows. At the middle floor, there is an interesting terra-cotta design. All the sills consist of continuous, horizontal band courses.
