Built in the mid-1950's to support the construction and resupply of the CAM-D DEW Line Intermediate Radar Site, this airstrip saw heavy use until the 1963 deactivation of the original CAM-D Site. Used once again to support the construction of the later NWS CAM-D site in the early 1990s, the airfield was stripped of its infrastructure during a site remediation project undertaken in the early 2000's and has been officially unmaintained since 2005.
