4-story commercial building originally completed in 1910, and later altered with a modernized facade of white pre-cast stone. On the right side a column of glass with large double-windows on each floor extends up from the base, where it has glass double-doors, up to near the top. There are metal-framed glass spandrels between floors joining the windows. The left side has a black metal door at the ground floor, and short, horizontal windows at the upper floors. The facade is capped by a metal coping.

The building is occupied by Sukyo Mahikari Centers for Spiritual Development, a nonprofit spiritual and community service organization with more than1 million members worldwide. Since its inception in 1959, the organization has emphasized the importance of taking major action to restore and revive the earth's environment. Its world headquarters is in Japan and has regional headquarters throughout the world.
