Originally, this was a Minyard Food Store, which sold out to an independent called City Market in the late 2000s. After the fiasco that lost Albertsons near TCU, they picked up this store and remodeled it, creating a rather bizarre mish-mash of décor, though their new store isn't as large, as nice, or as close as TCU as it was.
