4-story Federal/Italianate-style mercantile building completed in 1829 as a 3-story house for Nathaniel Weed. It was raised to four floors in 1864. Later the building's basement and first floor were rebuilt as commercial space. It is three bays wide, and clad in red-painted brick on the upper floors, with a white cement-stuccoed first floor and basement level. The entrance is on the left, at the top of a stoop. There is a wrought-iron fence around the areaway in front of the basement. The windows have stripped brownstone lintels and wrought-iron balconettes. The facade is crowned by a white wooden roof cornice with scrolled brackets, modillions, and dentils. The ground floor is occupied by BONDST restaurant.
