The 800-year-old plane tree is located at the beginning of the village of Dolnoslav, near Asenovgrad - in the Rhodope Mountains. There are about 20 plane trees in total, and their age varies from 500-800 years. The oldest grows a little apart from the rest of the group of trees. Years ago it was struck by a thunderstorm at the summit, but to this day it continues to heal itself. There is a church, a chapel and an ayazmo nearby.
