USA / New Jersey / West New York / New York City, New York / West 35th Street, 63

288-foot, 30-story modernist hotel completed in 2009. Designed by Peter F. Poon Architects, it is set far back from the street and clad in beige brick, aluminum and glass above the ground floor of variegated rust-colored stone. The 1-story sidewalls lining the edges of the front courtyard are composed of the same stone. There are service entrances at both ends of the ground floor, and a main entrance is the middle section that projects out from the main facade. A glass-and-metal canopy covers the entrance.

The upper floors have six bays of windows, with aluminum spandrel bands running across each floor and aluminum framing around the windows, which are divided into two uneven sides. At the bottom of the wider side are vents. Dark-tinted glass panels replace the brick at the four eastern piers of the 5th-7th floors, 11th-13th floors, 17th-19th floors, and 23rd-25th floors, as well as the western three piers at the 23rd-28th floors, and all the way across the top two floors. The hotel contains 298 guest rooms.
