10-story Italian Renaissance-style residential building completed in 1890 as an 8-story printing factory. It has a 2-story limestone base, with horizontal banding, and there is also thinner double-banding on the outer piers of the upper floors, which are clad in white brick. The base is capped by a projecting stone cornice, and the there are round-arched entryways at either end of the main facade along Hudson Street. This facade is divided into six central bays of four windows each, and two 2-windowed end bays. The windows within each bay are separated by metal mullions, and there are decorative brick panels in the spandrels between floors.

The top floor is set off by a dentiled band course, and has stone pilasters replacing the metal mullions seen below. Carved stone panels frame the outer bays, and the building is crowned on the three main facades by a copper roof cornice with dentils and modillions.

In 1979, it was converted into condominiums with two penthouses added on top. There is an Equinox gym on the ground floor. Tiger Woods is among the celebrities who have lived here. The building was again renovated in 1987 and 2012. The roof houses an array of solar panels.
