The doorway at the corner of the ground floor is cut-out and recessed, with a single round column supporting the floors above. At the upper floors, the long side along Downing Street has two sets of slightly-projecting brick piers with decorative brickwork. The windows all have stone sills and lintels, and decorative brick panels between the floors. The Bedford Street facade has a black iron fire escape, and both facades are crowned by a black metal modillioned roof cornice. The ground floor is occupied by Ditch Plains, a Hamptons-style clam shack named for a Montauk surf spot.
