Church No. 10 is located in the suburbs south of the walls of Shumen Fortress. It is a large basilica with a narthex from the west. The construction of its walls is made of well-worked stone blocks welded with mortar.
The church was built on an early Christian basilica from the 5th century, almost entirely following its plan.
