5-story mercantile building completed in 1852. Designed by Trench & Snook for Nathan & Joshua Brown, it is clad in brownstone above a storefront on Canal Street. A black metal fire escape runs down the facade, which is capped by a simple black metal roof cornice. The rear of the building, in Lispenard Street, is clad in brick with a thin white-washed veneer, and has a corbelled brick roof parapet. A small red-painted fire escape runs down this facade. The ground floor is occupied by GNC.
