5-story mercantile building completed in 1852. Designed by Trench & Snook for local haberdasher William White, its upper floors are surfaced in white-painted smooth stucco. The 8-paned windows grow shorter on each ascending floor. The front facade is capped by a simple black metal roof cornice with brackets. The rear of the building on Lispenard Street is clad in red-painted brick, with a corbelled brick parapet at the roof.
