The JW Marriott Convention Center Hotel is a 408 ft (125 m), 34 story skyscraper hotel which began construction in 2012, and opened in 2015. The hotel is built on a site which was previously a large surface parking lot. The building has one of the largest surface areas for a building in Austin.
