Large Square, Court Nb1 - Demolished Row of Shops(site)

Initial Large Square 1 yard became later (19th century) a row of shops. The area where today is located the restaurant terrace, were the annexes which were demolished in the late 60s of last century. Among the stores that have worked in the premises towards the Large Square to remember on the left Zimmermman's drapery store(opened in 1900), and on the right the leather shop of Johann Fleischer (opened in 1904). After their nationalization in 1948 here open the 'Popular'pub and grocery store, which will in turn become 'Fagaras' Restaurant and in the late '60s turned into 'La Turn' restaurant. In 1930 was opened the vaulted passage under the right body to ease traffic, the shops were partially demolished.
