8-story residential building completed in 1883 as a 6-story warehouse. Designed by John B. Snook, it was renovated into apartments in 1979, along with the former Excelsior Power Company Building next door. Both now officially use the address of 33 Gold Street. The former warehouse at the corner of Gold and Fulton is clad in red brick, with deeply-recessed windows on the ground floor along Gold, and the recessed former loading docks fronting Fulton converted to storefronts behind wide brick piers. A white, wooden course of siding tops the ground floor around the storefronts. Extending down Gold Street, a stone band course caps the ground floor, and just below, the tops of the windows have green canvas canopies.

The upper floors have large windows with joined stone lintels and stone banding on the piers. The Fulton Street elevation is divided into four bays of four windows each, and the Gold Street elevations has three bays of two windows, with one bay of three windows. The windows on Gold Street are narrower and more widely spaced than on Fulton. Above the ground floor, the two center bays on Gold, and three of the bays on Fulton have half-circle metal balconies and railings, divided into halves by vertical metal projections that run up the facade.

In the 1890s, the building was occupied by a glass mold factory; jewelry manufacturers; printers and lithographer’s offices; and exterminator’s offices. In 1911, the Diamond Point Pen Factory occupied the building, and in 1935, a jeweler was located there. Consolidated Edison owned the structure from 1961 until 1975.

During the conversion to residential in 1979, a full-floor 7th story and recessed penthouse were added on top, clad in brown brick, with fewer windows than on the original floors. The balconies extend up to the 7th floor. The ground floor is occupied by Bennie's Thai Cafe, Affina Nails & Spa, a barber shop, Spa 88, Tandoor Palace Indian restaurant, Taslima Newsstand, Mr. Rafael's Cleaners, and NYCity Buyers jewelry & watch repair shop.
