385-foot, 34-story modernist dormitory building completed in 2015. Designed by Gene Kaufman for Pace University, it accommodates 600 students, in 378 units. The building is set behind a plaza at the corner of William and Beekman Streets. The facades above the glassy double-height ground floor are mainly clad in orange brick, with blue-grey accent brick around the square, multi-paned window units. The rear of the three bays on the sidewall facing William Street is clad entirely in blue-grey brick with a seemingly organic placement of windows of differing sizes. There is a small, 5-story projecting section faced in dark grey metal panels at the right side of the front facade. On the tower portion of the front facade, the bays are divided into three pairs, separated by narrow, vertical recessed areas of blue-grey brick. Above the 20th floor, the center two bays are slightly recessed, and the orange brick is replaced by a partial glass curtain wall.
