Opened in February 2013, this non-profit theater is "an intimate 75-seat space which hosts stand-up comedians, improvisational artists, sketch shows, vaudevillian variety acts, comedic videos, live play readings, and humorous performers of all types." The building had been vacant for several years since the La Prima Espresso coffee shop closed in August 2005.

A historical plaque on the building reads as follows:

"This property with a three-story warehouse building was acquired by G. N. Hoffstot in 1872. The present building was constructed by Deed Brothers in 1886 as a five-story commercial loft. The addition of a sixth story was completed by Huchenstein and Co. in 1892. The property is still owned by the Hoffstot family [until May 2012 when it was sold to the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust].

"The 1886 building consists of ornamental masonry piers which frame a single bay of windows. In the 1892 addition, masonry piers were extended up from the original cornice into a sharply pitched tin pediment characteristic of the Queen Anne style. This pediment may originally have capped the five-story building. The top story maintains the organization of the original fenestration of the fifth floor. The first floor storefront and some upper story windows have been altered from their original condition."
