5-story residential building completed in 1875. It is clad in red brick above a red metal-and-glass storefront on the west facade (the north facade has a brick ground floor). The only openings are at the east end, where there is a narrow window and a wide window flanking a metal service door, and there is skinny 1-story extension at the end, with a metal-and-glass door and transom serving as the residential entrance.

The upper floors on the west facade have four bays of single-windows with beige stone sills and eared lintels. Beige-painted bands join the sills and the lintels at the shoulders. A dark-brown metal fire escape runs down the middle two bays of the facade, which is capped by a brick roof parapet with stone coping, where an original roof cornice used to be.

Along 56th Street the upper floors have a bay of single-windows at the west end. In the middle is another bay of single-windows and then three single-windows grouped together. The east end has two bays of paired windows, all with the same sills and lintels as the west facade. The ground floor is occupied by Bar Veloce.
