5-story Neo-Grec residential building completed in 1901. It is faced in brownstone on the north facade, and clad in red brick on the west facade, above a brown-painted stone base with three storefronts of varying styles. The main entrance is at the east end on 57th Street, with a wood-and-glass door framed by stone pilasters supporting an entablature with sunbursts above an egg-and-dart molding, surmounted by a cornice.

The upper floors on the north facade have four bays of single-windows with full stone surrounds, including bracketed sills and cornices. The upper floors of the west facade on the avenue has seven total bays of single-windows, with the northern six grouped into pairs that are spaced farther apart as they move south. The middle six bays are flanked by projecting brick chimney shafts that begin at the top of the 2nd floor, with the southernmost window bay opposite the south shaft. The windows have bracketed brownstone sills and eared lintels with projecting tops. A pair of brown metal fire escapes (one with slightly wider landings) runs down the northern windows of the west facade. Both main facades are crowned by a black metal roof cornice with brackets, dentils, and panels. The ground floor is occupied by Rubby Pizzeria, Rex coffee shop, and Roosevelt Gourmet Deli.
