Sagar Light House is manned and maintained by the Kolkata Port Trust.it lies within a Complex of Port Units. It also houses the Sagar VTS Center which was established in the year 2005 and was inaugerated by the then Chairman of the Kolkata Port, Dr. A.K.Chanda, I.A.S.It is a secure zone and a restricted area.
