4-story residential building completed in 1871 as five separate row houses. Although the buildings now have a unified red brick facade (above a white stone water table), there remain five separate entrances, numbered 403-4011. Each has a glass door and transom atop a small stoop with stone steps and brick risers, and with metal handrails and fences between the stoops. There is a flat, white stone lintel above each doorway, and they are all flanked by two narrow windows on each side, with white stone sills and flat lintels.

The upper floors at each of the five sections has four bays of single-windows with matching sills and lintels. Each facade section steps down slightly from the one to the east due to the slope of the site. A brown metal fire escape runs down the middle two bays of each section, and a simple metal coping caps the roof line. The building contains a total of 72 apartment units.
