4-story residential building consisting of multiple joined structures, each originally dating from the late 1800s. The east facade along the avenue is faced in beige smooth-stucco above various metal-and-glass storefronts. The upper floors have six bays of single-windows at the south, while the north part of the facade has four bays of single-windows set slightly higher; the roof line is also taller at the north section. The windows all have tan stone sills, and metal coping caps the roof lines. There are two grey metal fire escapes running down the facade.
The north facade on 54th Street has the main residential entrance near the west end of the main building, with a glass door, sidelights, and transom framed by tan brick. To the left is a very narrow window and a wider segmental-arched single-window, both with iron grilles. The only openings on the upper floors are two bays of single-windows flanking two center bays of smaller bathroom windows.
West of the main entrance is a small, 1-story commercial section connecting to the 4-story westernmost building, with more apartments. The commercial section is faced in grey stucco, with a stainless-steel door behind a bright-red outer double-door, flanked by two multi-paned windows; there is also a metal service door on the left.
The west building is also faced in grey stucco, three bays wide. The ground floor is set a little below sidewalk level, with steps leading down to the black metal door on the left. The two windows to the right have segmental-arched openings. There is no openings at the east bay of the 2nd floor; the others have tall single-windows with simple stone sills.
The complex contains a total of 36 apartment units. The 1-story section is occupied by Giardino restaurant, and the storefronts on the avenue are occupied by Valhalla NYC bar & grill, Jaz Indian Cuisine, and Medi Wine Bar.
