 1911_construction, commercial building

2-story mercantile building completed in 1911. Designed by H. M. Baer, it originally had three floors; the top floor was removed sometime in the mid-1900s. The ground floor has a metal-and-glass storefront with central glass double-doors, and a glass door at the north end leading to the upper floors. A black canvas awning covers the full width of the ground floor. The 2nd floor is faced in tan stucco, with a double-window in the center flanked by a single-window on either side. A projecting sign is mounted at the south end, and ribbed, horizontal, black metal bands with signage run across the top and bottom. A simple, black metal roof cornice caps the building. The ground floor is occupied by Green Apple Gourmet Food, and the 2nd floor by Sarah's Elegant Nails.
