5-story Romanesque-revival residential building completed in 1886. It is clad in red brick with brownstone trim above a painted brownstone ground floor. The facade is split into two matching halves, each with its own separate entrance. Both entrances have a metal-and-glass door and transom at the top of a couple of steps. Flat, polished stone pilasters framing the doorways are fronted by round columns of polished stone with painted bases and capitals, supporting a pair of entablatures. There is a large window to either side of each entrance, with rustications on the wall between the windows and entrances. Low, wrought-iron railings enclose small basement areaways on both sides.

The upper floors have four bays of single-windows on each half of the facade; the middle two bay of each half are very slightly recessed. The 2nd floor has brownstone banding across the non-recessed bays and flat lintels. At the 3rd floor the non-recessed bays have a brownstone band course above a dentil course, broken by the lower parts of the windows, and the lintels have quarter-circles extending down at the corners; the recessed bays have regular, flat lintels, as do all the windows at the 4th floor. Decorative black iron medallions are attached to each pier between the 3rd & 4th floors. There are brick spandrels between the recessed bays of the 2nd-3rd, 3rd-4th, and 4th-5th floors, with varying patterns. The top floor has a wide, shallow brick arch spanning the two middle bays of both halves, with brownstone impost blocks and keystone. A pair of black iron fire escapes with basket-style landings runs down the facade, which is crowned by a pair of matching grey metal roof cornices with brackets, dentils, paneled friezes, and stepped-up middle sections.
