5-story residential building completed around 1880. It is clad in orange brick above a dark-red-painted brownstone ground floor with rough-faced banding. A low stoop leads up to the central entrance with a wood-and-glass door. The entry is framed by fluted pilasters with Corinthian capitals surmounted by an intricately carved frieze and pair of brackets that support a cornice, projecting forward over the entrance. To either side of the door is a large window above a carved panel. To the right of the stoop is a stairway leading down to the basement entrance. A black iron fence enclosed the whole front areaway.

The upper floors have four bays of single-windows. The end piers and center pier have recessed panels at the 3rd & 5th floors, and brownstone segments between each floor level. The windows have brownstone lintels, joined into pairs on the left and right, and continuous brownstone sill courses underlined by various brick corbel styles. There are round-arches above the windows at the top floor, with keystones, and the facade is capped by a brick roof parapet with two stepped-down notches; it has a brownstone coping.
