9-story modernist hotel completed in 2011 as opened as the Selina Hotel. Designed by Enrique Norton of TEN Arquitectos for Grupo Habita as the Hotel Americano, the boutique hotel has 56 guest rooms. The front facade is draped in a stainless steel mesh curtain. Viewed from the adjacent High Line elevated park during the day, the mesh is like a silver veil. It entirely dissolves at night, when the lights come on inside the hotel. Behind the mesh, the facade is clad in glass and metal, with a center column of glass blocks rising the full height of the tower.

In 2020, the interior was renovated by M.Arch Architects.
