A large food hall, specializing in fine foods, fruits and vegetables connecting the Central Concourse of Grand Central Terminal with Lexington Avenue. The 1-story structure is faced in limestone on Lexington Avenue, with a large expanse of glass-and-metal infill above the doorways, which are covered by a metal canopy. The stone band across the top is incised with the words "GRAND CENTRAL" and the roof line is marked by a colored eagle sculpture with spread wings, flanked by low metal railings.
