• The cow is actually labeled as "Salem Sue, World's Largest Holstein Cow". It does not claim to be the world's largest cow... But the world's largest Holstein Cow. I don't know if there is a larger cow, but Sue's signs are so very specific that I suspect there may be. If anyone knows post it here. I did try asking the locals, it was a surreal experience, they assumed I wished to discuss the local living cows and assured me they were just as good as Wisconsin cows. When I made it clear that I meant the giant thing on the hill they seemed surprised.
• All the signs say "World's Largest Holstein Cow". I don't know if this means there is a bigger non-Holstein. But maybe in India or Texas? When I asked the natives they started telling me how their cows were just as good as Wisconsin cows. They seemed quite surprised that someone would be interested in the giant tourist attraction rather than the grass eaters. North Dakota is surreal.

• My comment does not save... trying this shorter one.
