Sturgis is a city in and the county seat of Meade County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 6,627 at the 2010 census.

Sturgis is home to the world famous "Sturgis Motorcycle Rally", one of the "BIG 3" United States motorcycle Bike Weeks. The other two are the "Laconia Bike Week" (the oldest)in New Hampshire and the "Daytona Bike Week" in Florida.
