Excursion Inlet is an unincorporated community in Haines Borough, Alaska. The population was 12 as of the 2010 census.

The area consists of a cannery, freezer factory, former POW camp, small village, and a sea plane dock and runway for aircraft. It was first settled as a cannery at the mouth of Excursion Inlet. The name was first reported in the 1943 USC&GS Coast Pilot. During World War II, Excursion Inlet became a resupply point for the Aleutian islands campaign.
