Aggie Park is surrounded by heritage trees planted in the year of the City's inauguration in 1913.
The park was the named for the Agricultural Hall that used to sit on the site. Built by the Agricultural Society, in September of 1912, the Aggie Hall, served as a community gathering place and the site of many community events, including the City's Inaugural celebrations in 1913 and the City's May Day festivities.
