"Geometric Mouse X" is a painted steel sculpture at the corner of McKinney @ Bagby streets, adjacent to the Houston Public Library's Jesse H. Jones Building in Downtown Houston, Texas.
Created by sculptor Claes Oldenburg and first erected in 1971, it is an abstract geometric representation of a mouse, and is composed of ¾ inch thick Cor-Ten steel that is welded and bolted together. After restoration in 1984, the sculpture was painted with bright OSHA red paint.
