George P. Mills Residence (Sands Point, New York)

c.1923 clapboard Colonial Revival mansion was once the residence of George Partridge Mills of the Central Hanover Bank & Trust Company, Mills was married to Evelyn Cary Smith, daughter of film and publishing executive Courtland Smith, and granddaughter of Orlando Jay Smith, founder and President of the American Press Association. Nearly 5000sq ft home with carriage house and 1000+sq ft cottage over garage, pool, tennis.

The estate was later home of Marvin B. Tepper, Partner at real estate development firm Sterling Equities Inc. He passed away in 2918 at the age of 86. It is presumed it is now occupied by one of his heirs.
