  • Mr. Chopsticks no more! It go home in hole in ground. New big business run them out and build starbucks and CVS super drug store.
  • Now moved in with Quik Stir Asian Cuisine, a bit northwest of here. Same owner, same business, etc.
  • The original home of Mr. Chopsticks was razed several years ago along with most of the small businesses in the NE corner of Fry and Hickory intersection. The plans were to put a retail center there. The plan only got to the tearing down portion. Now there is a huge hole in a neighborhood that was shabby and in need of some creative development strategy, but certainly more vibrant than its current state. I am peculiar in that I don't see solutions in bringing corporate chains, I only see local people giving their money to companies that take that money out of the community. I know, I know, but those companies are bringing 'jobs.' I just think the are the soul-sucking kind that pay just enough for your industrial meal of corn from the Jack and the Box a few blocks away or the McDonalds on the other side of campus.
