Former Electromagnetic Systems Laboratory (ESL) test facility that included an upside-down wire mesh RC-12 Guardrail airplane. ESL merged with TRW in 1978 and was eventually acquired by Northrop Grumman in December 2002. Today, ESL has locations in San Jose and McClellan Park in Sacramento.
