San Jose Municipal Park, It is the first park in California. A land grand from the King of Spain in 1774, this was a gift to the Pueblo of San Jose. The park has was once a "Health Reservation" complete with bathhouses, entertainment venues, over 25 miles of trails, A "Plunge" with a 30 foot slide, a zoo, and complete with carnival rides. The park became a health retreat when it was discovered that the Mineral Springs contained healing elements. Throughout the park there are 15 accessible "Rock Grottos" which dispense This mineral water. (Do not drink, the water has traces of strichnyne)...
