Nice neighborhood of quality single story ranch style homes built from 1956-1961. The area was originally grazing lands for Mission San Jose. It was acquired during the gold rush by John Horner, who continued to farm. Around 1900, Joshua Chadbourne bought the land and started growing apricots. Driscoll Farms, a commercial strawberry grower, purchased the site before World War II but continued to grow apricots until it was sold for development.
