North Pole is a small city in the Fairbanks North Star Borough of Alaska. It is part of the Fairbanks metropolitan statistical area. The population was 2,117 as of the 2010 census.

The suburb plays up on its name, with tourists often stopping by to mail things from "The North Pole".

Prior to Christmas each year, the USPS post office in North Pole receives hundreds of thousands of letters to Santa Claus, and thousands more from people wanting the town's postmark on their holiday greeting cards to their families. It advertises the ZIP code 99705 as the ZIP code of Santa.

  • Do not insult santa OK
  • Hello kids it's me Santa Claus! Who wants things this year? Just try not to ask for anything too heavy for Santa to carry, ok? Santa's back isn't what it used to be. And please don't get sad if I can't give you your PS3, X-box 360, or Wii because Santa can't make electronic things in his Workshop! I can't believe it's only a few weeks away, another trip around the world in one night!
  • North Pole is my hometown :) I think Santa's awesome.
