Originally opened as a Woolco store, this was converted to a Wal-Mart when Woolco was acquired in 1994. Wal-Mart vacated this space in 2010 in favour of a new "supercentre" store in the Harbour Landing development.

Zellers was listed as the new tenant and was supposed to be opening in fall of 2010. However, when Zellers was acquired by Target this location was abandoned. It was instead redeveloped as a Canadian Tire, which moved from its standalone store a few blocks north. Included with Canadian Tire are stores from its other brands: SportChek, Mark's Work Wearhouse and Atmosphere.
