The “Assumption” Church, which was built in 1838, is located in the village of Delchevo. The village is situated 9 km south-west along an asphalt road to the town of Gotse Delchev. The church, which is declared a monument of culture with a local significance, is a part of the architectural ensemble from the period of the Bulgarian National Revival in the village. It is a building with a nave and two aisles, stone pseudo-basilica with a gallery and a vault.
