The Jews of Bratislava were expelled during the 13 century and moved to Hainburg.The synagogue is around 700 years old with a remarkable roof.The only other known depicition of a roof of this kind is in one of Heronimous Bosches paintings.The building is a UNESCO World Heritage building.Amazingly the synagogue and any reference to the Jews of Hainburg has been omitted by those who provided information on this small town for Wikipedia.
