This subdivision consists of McCullough (McCulloch, apparently) Addition (1946, a historically African-American subdivision that when it was built had stone street signs and dirt roads) and Pecan Tree Estates (1976 and 1978, Oney Hervey Road). Currently, these are undergoing gentrification by ramshackle single family homes being replaced with upscale student rentals. In 2015, the city council agreed to housing restrictions to save the city's last black neighborhood.
