949 acres of wetlands, grasslands and prairies, with four miles of trails. Activities include fishing, boating, biking and hiking. There are picnic areas and an off-leash dog area. Located on Lawrence Avenue just west of Gary Avenue and north of Schick Road. Go north on Gary Avenue to Lawrence Avenue, and continue west on Lawrence Avenue to the preserve entrance. A landfill was operated here from 1974 until 1999.
