Old Newman Ranch Headquarters established 1876 abandoned in 1884 when the Newman brothers left with their cattle herd for Montana. Log cook house build here 1879 moved to the Spade Ranch thirty five miles to the south in 1888 to become there cookhouse, still in use today.
