The Boleyn Ground, better known as Upton Park is a stadium in the Upton Park area of the borough of Newham in east London. Upton Park was the main football stadium for West Ham United FC, a successful premier league British football team from the area. The ground was opened in 1904 and has a capacity of over 36,000. West Ham United F.C. played here from 1904 to the end of the 2015-16 season.
West Ham United FC now plays at the London Stadium in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in nearby Stratford. Boleyn Ground is slated for demolition and redevelopment.
